    Online Course In Education Course In Corrosion Protection With Galvanized Steel

    January 10, 2006, Tampa, FL –RedVector announced today the release of a new online CE course that addresses the corrosion protection with galvanized steel. Hot-Dip Galvanizing: Corrosion Protection with Galvanized Steel is offered in both a one, two and three-hour format. This online continuing education course authored by Tom Langill for the American Galvanizers Association, is a beginnerbronze level course and is availableopen to engineers, architects, landscape architects and contractors , building inspectors and landscape architects for professional development or to satisfy state-mandated CE licensing requirements.

    This online course explores the corrosion process, designing and specifying for corrosion prevention, painting over hot-dip galvanized steel, and the role hot-dip galvanizing plays in protecting steel from corrosion. One of the primary missions of the American Galvanizers Association is to provide information and assistance to the specifying community on topics such as specification interpretation, project applications, design issues, and any technical research or support that may be required. This online course explores the corrosion process, designing and specifying for corrosion prevention, painting over hot-dip galvanized steel, and the role hot-dip galvanizing plays in protecting steel from corrosion.
